WHAT IS A COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENCE

Congratulations on achieving your Private Pilot Licence.

Would you like to get paid for what you love doing? Well, you will need a Commercial Pilot Licence to be rewarded for your skills.

All Instructors at GAS are Commercial Charter Pilots, so they teach from their daily experiences. We promise you will find it difficult to find a flying school where the instructors are charter pilots. This is what makes GAS unique in WA!

In this phase of your training you are going to take your flying to a whole new level. A variety of scenarios and commercial pressures will be the basis of your training.

As a commercial pilot, you will be faced with many challenges and we are here to prepare you for them. Some of the things we will focus on during your training will include:

·         Accuracy of your flying

·         Professionalism

·         Efficiency and time management

·         Passenger management

·         Cargo management

·         Plus much more

If you choose to work in the Northern Territory as a charter pilot, conduct survey flights, or want to fly for the airlines like Qantas and Virgin, during the CPL training phase you will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to work anywhere in the aviation industry..

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ?

At GAS we work around your schedule, making it very flexible. You can train every day if you like, study every afternoon and weather permitting, you could obtain your RPL in as little as 4 – 6 weeks!

How often you choose to train is purely up to you, our instructors will do their best to accommodate your family/work/study schedule.
