WHAT IS PPL

Interested in taking more passengers, flying bigger, faster aircraft, going almost anywhere you want?

You can by-pass the RPL flight test and written exam (if you have reached the competencies required) and begin training for your Private Pilot Licence (PPL).

During this stage of your training, our instructors will teach you the art of navigating, which will allow you to fly anywhere in the country and even overseas. You can even learn to fly and navigate at night!

We will also take your basic instrument flying a little further, so that if you find yourself in a cloud, you will safely and quickly be able to get out.

There is a written exam during this phase and in most cases our students study in their own time; however, we are always happy to help and guide you through any questions you may have.

The feeling of independence when you can fly and now navigate an aircraft anywhere in Australia, for fun or business, and carry your family/friends is second to none.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ?

At GAS we work around your schedule, making it very flexible. You can train every day if you like, study every afternoon and, weather permitting, you could hold your PPL in as little as 4 weeks!

How often you choose to train is purely up to you. Our instructors will do their best to accommodate your family/work/study schedule.
